In 5 days my last baby is leaving town for college (Paul's in the red)....WHEW! Freedom..
So who popped INTO town today to spend a few nights?? One of my DAYCARE kids from the mid 1990's~!
GALEN VANHORN!! Galen (and his little sister Kate), were these little wild white toe -head kids who popped in and out of my "liscened in-home daycare" on San Juan Island for years upon years from 1993-1996. I even have them on video, which was just put on DVD, and my kids will be receiving soon.,..(look for the totally wild white haired kids throwing popcorn)...
So GALEN, who grew up in Bloomington, Indiana (after his mother Jan moved off island), now is back HOME in Washington, and will be attending Western Washington University! GO GALEN. He is spending some nights with us until the dorms open on Thursday..
What a great circle of life. It makes me feel a bit philosophical. The boys are both at their laptop computers downstairs...hence, their hand positions.

Haha flashback is right! I keep forgetting kids grow up and don't stay the same, little size. Good for Galen going to Western!
I can see a bit of Galen in that grown up kid. wowo...crazy! Thanks for blogging about that whole experience. it's fun for us all to reminisce!~
